Our obligation to your dog

Glencadia Dog Camp (Glencadia Corporation, LLC) promises to provide care for your dog that is not negligent. Glencadia Corporation, LLC and not any individual working for, with or in any way associated with the corporation is liable for the care of your dog.

Insurance

Fully insured.

Medical care

If there is a medical emergency and we are unable to contact you quickly, we will use our best judgement. If we seek vetinary care, you are obligated to pay the bill, unless the injury results from neglence on my end. If a dog has a pre-existing condition, you must tell me about it. If your dog needs medication on an ongoing basis, please try to tell me why s/he need the medication and how to give the medicine in the reservation form (in addition to tell me when we meet to pick up the dog).

Label any medicine with the dog's name.

The risk of social boarding

The philosophy of this model of dog boarding is that he benefits of a social setting and open space outweigh the increased risk of a bite. Be advised: there is a risk of bite wound.

If you dog is not nuetered or fixed or if you know that your dog has issues with aggression, stop this script now and call or email me to discuss the situatiuon before continuing. In the reservation form, include any history of aggression or victimization that I need to know. Also, if you dog is likely to run away when offleash, let me know.

Liability

Other than in case of negligence, Glencadia Corporation, LLC is not liable for injury or loss of your dog.

Payment, drop off, pick up

Pick up and drop off times in email schedule are estimates. Please be available by phone from 6-9pm on pick up / drop off day (always a Monday or Thursday).åÊA responsible adult with an operational phone who understands the sidewalk pick up / drop off system must be available.åÊDo not make plans based on the estimated pick up and drop off times in email. Have a plan to get the dog to or from the sidewalk from 6-9 pm with 1/2 hour notice.Ì­åÊBe able to get to where the dog is and bring the dog to the sidewalk within 1/2 of receiving a call from me for that entire period of time unless we talk by phone after about 5pm on the day in question.åÊCall me on pick up / drop off day if you cannot be at the pick up / drop off location during these evening pick up / drop off hours.åÊAll pick ups and drop offs are on the sidewalk.

If someone else (doorman, friend, neighbor, relative) is handling the pick up / drop off for you, make sure they have my number and understand the system. I need phone numbers and, if possible, email for the person who is handling the drop off for you.åÊ

Payment is in check or cash on the sidewalk upon return of the dog or by credit card email invoice prior to drop off. Please let me know as early as possible if you want to pay by credit card.åÊ

Dog stuff

Don't give me anything you want back. Less is better.

Food

I have Nutro lamb and rice or equivalent here. Food is included in the package but feel free to give me food for your dog if you want to.

Fleas, Ticks and Shots

Required: rabies, kennel cough. No exceptions.ξ

Recommended: flea prevention BUT NOT ON THE DAY OF PICK UP. If you have advantix or frrontline on the neck, it can get in another dog's eye.
