Our obligation to your dog

Glencadia Dog Camp (Glencadia Corporation, LLC) promises to provide care for your dog that is not negligent. Glencadia Corporation, LLC and not any individual working for, with or in any way associated with the corporation is liable for the care of your dog.

Insurance

Insured. More info available upon request.

Medical care

If there is a medical emergency and we are unable to contact you quickly, we will use our best judgement. If we seek vetinary care, you are obligated to pay the bill, unless the injury results from neglence on my end. If a dog has a pre-existing condition, you must tell me about it.

Medicine

Put condition treated (why the dog needs it) and medicine (what it is) into your reservation. Give us only as much medicine as we need for the stay. We cannot assure that we will return the unused portion. Label it clearly with dog name and name of medicine. Put in secure container.

The risks of social boarding

The philosophy of this model of dog boarding is that he benefits of a social setting and open space outweigh the increased risk of a bite. Be advised: there is a risk of bite wound.

If you dog is not nuetered or fixed or if you know that your dog has issues with aggression, email me to discuss the situatiuon . In the reservation form, include any history of aggression or victimization that I need to know.

If your dog is not fixed, you run an increased risk of a bite.

Running away

If your dog is likely to run away when offleash, let me know. If your dog is an escape artist, please let me know.

Liability

Other than in case of clear negligence, Glencadia Corporation, LLC is not liable for injury or loss of your dog.

Payment, drop off, pick up

Pick up and drop off times in email schedule are estimates. For free pick up and drop off in New York, someone must be available by phone from 6-9 pm on pick up / drop off day. A responsible adult with an operational phone who understands the sidewalk pick up / drop off system must be available.

Client is responsible for checking reservation at glencadia.net and making sure that the dates are right. All information needed to make the pick up and drop off happen needs to be in the reservation.

Payment is in check or cash on the sidewalk upon return of the dog or by credit card email invoice prior to drop off. Please let me know as early as possible if you want to pay by credit card.

Dog stuff

Don't give me anything you want back. No dog stuff will be returned.

Food

Food is linked from glencadiadogcamp.com. Hypoallergenic, all natural, all American, no outsourcing. If you want to send your own food, please tell us why in your reservation form.

Fleas, Ticks and Shots

Required: rabies, kennel cough, distemper.

Do not use flea prevention ON THE DAY OF PICK UP. If you have advantix or frrontline on the neck, it can get in another dog's eye.
